destroyer of the Majabooto Sentinel Armada

the greatest peculiarity of this class of ship, compared to the rest of the MSA, is the lack of the TTS82 "Shahin" rapid-fire-plasma-cannon,

these will be replaced by the YL5V missile launcher "Barachha", the only vertically installed missile launcher on board MSA ships, instead of the broadsides of missile launchers otherwise used

instead, the Sayad-Class has five LNK3 “Ravi” short-range plasma torpedo launchers on its broadside, a plasma cannon that fires plasma bolts that have a devastating effect at short range

in contrast to the other Homkumat ship classes, these destroyers are therefore specialized in close combat within the MSA combat formation, while the rest of the fleet consists of ships in which the weapons are preferably used over great distances

the Sayad-Class is used by the MSA according to essentially the same deployment scheme as the other factions of the Milky Way using their destroyers: patrols over longer distances and periods of time, armed reconnaissance missions, and escorts, in combat especially cruisers, battleships and carriers

however, due to the Hokumat's "fleet doctrine", which prefers missiles as the primary weapon system for large ships, a large part of the ship's volume is required for ammunition chambers

in addition, by military standards, the MSA ships have relatively spacious and comfortable accommodations for the crews

this creates a range problem similar to that of the USOC ships, only much more serious

for example, a long-range patrol is defined by the great powers of the Milky Way as a 3 to 6 month patrol through several sectors, mostly officially considered uninhabited

long-range patrols according to the standards of the MSA usually last no more than 23 days and the patrol area includes a maximum of neighboring solar systems (including the solar system in which the destroyer is stationed, of course)

so the Sayad-class deployment scheme is actually more like a frigate from the other factions, but given its size and armament, this class of ship is clearly a destroyer

the range problem just mentioned is also negligible for the MSA in practice, since the Motahed Hokumat Majabooto is "only" a medium-sized military and political power in the Milky Way and normally has only a "relatively" limited area of influence around their respective solar systems

basically there are only three areas of space in the Milky Way in which the Hokumat is the leading power and in which the Hokumat's sphere of influence is so great that the MSA's spaceships actually reach their range limits in practice

here the range problem is solved by a large number of support space stations, and two of these areas also have direct borders with one or more of the great powers or are surrounded by the great powers

and since the Hokumat is on friendly terms with all five great powers, support from those powers' great fleets is usually not a problem

the "blood-red" stripes on this destroyer indicate that this ship belongs to the Imperial Guard, the Keshik,

this is a rare sight as the Keshik only employs Sarheshi-class frigates,

only a few Sayad-Class destroyers are used by the Guard as flagships and for escorting the personal flagships of the Empresses
