hahaha! I love the title of this! Awesome photo! Such a cute angle; you can really see the personality of the bird shining through.

Thank you! I thought so as well. This nuthatch was so occupied with foraging for food that it didn't even mind me at all, even though I was only around 4 to 5 meters away. As you can see from the shadow on its back, it was constantly changing between the sunlit and darker areas, though, so it was hard to get a focused shot - much less one without movement. One time it was *really* close and sitting on top of the branch, but my camera's auto-focus let me down so I missed the opportunity.
