Description
Well I noticed that I have not posted photography in quite a while, but then again I have not really gone out taking photos much. Anyways here's a photo of a green-and-black poison dart frog (Dendrobates auratus) I took years ago but have never posted. Just because I was in the mood to post a photograph. This species has toxic poison that can easily kill a person even in small amounts. Native to central America, it was also introduced to Hawaii to control mosquitoes (because introducing an animal itself ain't already bad enough and it had to be one that is toxic as hell). This individual is a captive specimen. This frog is also a popular exotic pet (no it is not my pet).
