Description I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind

- Kansas, Dust in the wind

shot at killarney park, ontario, canada
levels, channel mixer, + a bunch of other stuff. i have the psd, but if i open it my computer dies.

sorry about this... i hate chain letters/comments but this is scary and kind of promising, i apologize about this..
Hi, I am Teddy. Once you read this you
cannot get out. Finish reading this
until it is done! As I said, I am
Teddy. I am 7 years old. I have no eyes
and blood all over my face. I am dead.
If you don't send this to at least 12
people I will come to your house at
midnight and I'll hide under your bed.
When you're asleep, I'll kill you.
Don't believe me?"no"
Case 1:
Patty Buckles
Got this e-mail. She doesn't believe
in chain letters. Well, Foolish Patty.
She was sleeping when her TV started
flickering on and off. Now she's not
with us anymore. Ha ha patty, Ha ha!
You don't want to be like Patty, do
you?
Case 2:
George M. Simon
Hates chain mail, but he didn't want
to die that night. He sent it to 4
people. Not good enough George. Now,
George is in a coma, we don't know if
he'll ever wake up. Ha ha George, Ha
ha! Now, do you want to be like George?
Case 3:
Valarie Tyler
She got this letter. Another chain
letter she thought. Only had 7 people
to
send to. Well, That night when she was
having a shower she saw bloody Mary
in the mirror. It was the BIGGEST
fright of her life. Valarie is scarred
for
life.
Case 4:
Derek Minse
This is the final case I'll tell you
about. Well, Derek was a smart person.
He sent it to 12 people. Later that
day, he found a $100.00 bill on the
ground. He was premoted to head
officer at his job and his girlfriend
said
yes to his purposal. Now, Katie and
him are living happily ever after. The
have 2 beautiful children.
Send this to at least 12 people or
you'll face the consequences.
0 people- You will die tonight
1-6 people- you will be injured
7-11 people- you will get the biggest
fright of your life
12 and over- you are safe and will
have good fortun

P.S. im sorry again... No really, I'm sorry xD

I love the foreboding cloud in the distance along with the waterlilies. The two objects seem so oppsotie giving the pictrue a feeling of safety as well as a feeling of insecurity. Very enigmatic and beautiful. You capture everything quite well.

Powerful image! I Like the black and white, I think it looks good. I think it would be a totally different picture if it where in colour. It would be great but in a different way (with colour)

not much to say about this shot, i suppose (the clouds are so ominous, particularly given the title you have chosen), but i had to comment because i'm such a sucker for old Kansas songs. "Leftoverture" is still one of my favorite albums of all-time ...

This shot only reinforce my image of canada being a real nature loving place with great countryside and great landscape!

That looks something taken out of a dream! It's real amazing, the colors (or lack of them) really put on a great mood! A thinking mood!

The lily pads are wonderful!

Thumbs up!

I love the reflections in the water and now the plants in the water add another point of focus to the picture. There is so much going on and yet the picture doesn't feel crowded at all. The sky is very dynamic as well and there is an overall balance in the contrast range of the picture that really keeps the eye moving throughout the piece. This is an excellent shot and is on its way to my fav list. Congratulations on an excellent shot.

ordinarily i just view your work and find commenting on it an exercise in futility because 1. - you already know of your talent and if you don't there are usually 100 people that inform you anew, and 2. - being that extra innocuous voice in a sea of screams would seem superfluous. However, I felt I had to stop and say: DAMN this is beautiful. Aside from your architectural work i'd rank this among if not atop your very best, from the angle to the contrast to the mood it evokes. Excellence.

...to put it another, far less verbose way: i love it. good job.

I didn't know the song before you used it as a description, I've viewed this picture twice, first without soundtrack, after with it, this shot is a perfect picture of what I'd like to look at for relaxing and make my life go slower, just for a moment, just for discovering what it would look like.

It is rarely seen so balance contrast.
(I think you using each tone on the gray scale)

Any way perfect contrast or not it is eventually technical issue.
That is really important is the soul if the image. If it move something inside you.

And it is(for me).

Wow, what a beautiful spot.. so very tranquil and serene. Look at that water.. not a ripple in sight. Then those rather foreboding clouds looming over the scene look so threatening.. and give the photo a whole 'calm before the storm' vibe. There's something so fantastical about the whole scene too.. but maybe that's just because I've never seen such a place before in real life

Did you use Dodge on that lillipad in the foreground? Coz it looks like you went outside the lines a little ;P
Looks the same with the Burn tool around the treetops. But nevermind.. I love the way you played with contrast and stuff here. It's such a striking photo.

Oh yeah, love the perspective too.
Good stuff
