Well... today we had our first day of culture week in school, and I started the drawing class to I would get some nice feedback from my friend Natalia (~Nattserier on DA) who holds the course, and an excuse to start a new short story with my character Yashel..Anyway, as a joke, Natalia challenged me to draw "shojo" or "generic manga" and this is what came from that challenge.
No. I won't be using this style in the future.
Pencil on paper, drawn during lunch, 30 minutes.
Bunch of intended anatomy issues, since most of the time shojo has HORRIBLE anatomy. We were fooling around.

Heh, you really have to love Shojo style to use it a A LOT. And it really IS a generic style.. *nods* Yeah. I was like, "Ohshit, a nekomimi!" and flipped out. Did a good job! I like.

I know. I read your comment, I'm just saying you did a good job on something you don't typically like to do. That's talent right there.
I don't expect to see anything else like it and personally, I enjoy your own style more.

XDD Horribly, overly cute and generic. Mission accomplished. I wouldn't say all shoujo has bad anatomy, though a lot of it does. It's nice when mangaka recognize this though, and you see them improve throughout their chapters. Love the bells on her tail. xD

I hate ribbon shoujo. x.x No one would actually want to wear those kind of outfits all the time. It bothers me, even though it is fantasy.

I'm glad you aren't going to draw in this style (it's not that you do it bad (you actually do it quite well), but I love your current style too much to see it turn into this xP ).
