I might have to draw Volke again, depending on how this one fairs. <<For some reason, I felt like trying to mimic the style of one of my favorite artists ever (whose name I don't know...). Of course, I have nothing on them. There's something very distinct about their faces and choice of colors and the subtle simplicity that I just can't grasp.

This demonstrates your ability to capture a moment that tells an entire story. My mind takes the drawing and turns it into a film clip. The snow blowing across the scene. Volke filling, then lighting his pipe, his robes moving to the wind. Clouds of blue smoke wafting away. The snow hiding the signs of carnage bit by bit, like changing pixels of a violent scene to 0xFFFFFF.

I really, really like! It's quite an interesting style! And I dunno why, but just seeing Volke casually smoking a pipe while someone lies dead in the background on a blanket of snow is surprisingly Zen. Or maybe my brain just doesn't work this time of morning...
