They... they got rid of Support Conversations in Goddess of Dawn.Various sketches from as old as October because I'm not feeling too well. All for Path of Radiance except the orange one at the bottom; that's Sain and Fiora from the Blazing Sword.
Fire Emblem and all that jazz (C) Intelligent Systems.

Getting rid of support conversing was the worst thing they ever did in FE. I love the weird conversations they have throughout the story.
Now if you want to get anything close, you have to pair people up and talk to them during battle, but only if they already support each other. At least it tells you that your supports are working though, it shows at the bottom of the screen.

Hilariously enough, this was made loooong before I watched Kim Possible. But there'd be shades of Stephen Silver via Penny Arcade's art which certainly influenced me.

i would probably have the same look on my face if i was soren.
but i also have his same personality (most of the time (when i'm NOT on the internet (because people kinda piss me off (because they can be bastards sometimes (and sometimes they can be annoying (but i'm not that way around my friends (but i sometimes can be because some of my friends are friends with people i hate))))))).
i also like the one of titania as a playing card thing.

Do you think it's taking nine months to translate GoD to implement the support conversation in the American/European version?

I highly doubt it. First off, NOA has never altered a Fire Emblem game anywhere near such a degree. Not to mention it would require undoing current buddy system. If Intelligent Systems felt the game didn't need support conversations, NOA will likely respect that.
Also, nine months is only three more than how long it took Path of Radiance to get localized. Radiant Dawn has a lot more text, and they could be trying to let less typos go through.
