So Project Rooftop's deadline is tomorrow and I have just finished my idea for what Dick Grayson, known as the original Robin now Nightwing, would look like as Batman. I wanted to keep some elements from Nightwing's current look and bring it to Batman. Now my problem most of the time with Nightwing is the most people try to make him into Batman lite and thats just not him. Dick's a showboat, a natural leader where Bruce is not. So out with grim and bulky and in is slick and streamlined.

I wanted his suit to have a lot of tech upgrades. His signature sticks are now powered with tazers, as are his gloves giving Dick an advantage on superpowered foes. His cape can be detached and used to ensnare opponents or as a shield to protect him from gunfire. His cryo, flash, smoke, gas, and thermite grenades are located on his utility belt, as are his batarangs and bat-bolas. His gloves hold other items such as his lockpicks, first aid kit, tool kit, tracers, darts, and acetylene torch.

His biggest upgrades are the shoes and his mask. The shoes are based off of the Flash's old villain The Trickster's Airwalker shoes. It allows him to fly short distances so he doesn't need to use the bat grappling hook anymore and can literally run up walls or run from building to building with ease. And his helmet is designed so that the batlike ears produce a kind of sonar so that he can get a heads up display with a 360 degree view of his surroundings. It also is connected to The Batcave computer and Oracle and can scan the police and federal frequencies. It is also able to lower a rebreather which allows Dick to breathe underwater or in vacuum.
