This variant of the Scratch Cat Pokemon evolved to have sharp thorns, made from the same material as their claws, protruding from their tail. Although timid, stepping on Meowth's tail will set it off in an instant, and perpetrators should expect a flurry of scratches and punches. This variant is said to have evolved further from the Galarian variant of Meowth, which were brought into the Ferona region when explorers landed on the continent.

- Based on the wait-a-while plant, which is a spiky acacia plant found in Australia that is known to tear up sheep wool and clothes.
