The user shoots out explosive seeds covered in scorching flames. Has a 20% chance to cause a burn.

Despite its arachnid-like disposition, Scovachi is not a Bug type Pokemon. It is said to have evolved into this shape to discourage herbivores from consuming its leaves. Its more notable defense mechanism, however, lies with its spice. Its arms and tail are stuffed with scorching peppercorn seeds, which it shoots out when in danger. The seeds explode on contact, and although a single blast does not hurt on its own, its burning properties can cause serious pain overtime: those hit by it claim it starts off fine, but the pain builds up overtime. While they are dangerous, its seeds are a delicacy, and so daring chefs and hunters would purposefully set this Pokemon off so that they could potentially catch the fruits.

- The name is a combination of Scorpion, Scoville Scale (the measurement of the spiciness of chili peppers), Arachnid, and Chili.
- It is based on the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Pepper, which used to be the hottest pepper in the world until a certain other pepper dethroned it in 2017.
