Description

I put it into the Tutorials>Misc. hope thats alright

Just a simple walk-through. Found a couple of images from my shoot with liz a month or so ago, and decided to put them together. But since the other image was very shallow, and this one wasn't, i decided to cheat a little

My first time really bluring the bg to create faux shallow DOF. Hope it looks alright, sorry if it's kind of crapily made

Hope this helps someone

Taken with Sigma 50mm f/2.8 (but looks like 50mm 1.4 *well i think haha*)

What about choosing a different aperture, instead of blurrying it with photoshop?
Natural dof looks so much better.

What if your camera doesn't allow you to change the aperture?

How long did you blurred it? Won't this take too long though?

This is cool, I usually edit my DOF with the quick mask and Gaussian or Motion blur - but this way looks good
