Most clones end up female, because females are more stable due to having two x-chromosomes, rather than one, but it would still count as a child in a way, being a form of artificial asexual reproduction, considering Dani came out younger. Picture it as Vlad taking two copies of Danny's x-chromosomes, rather than an x and a y, and merging them to create Dani.

...I am not sure it works that way. The science is less...explained, and Word of God has it that he essentially becomes a different species.

Good enough.

I though she was a girl because Vlad accidentally got some of Sam's DNA...?
And why is Sam punching a wall?!
Still, good points altogether. I used to think that would work, too.

When I got back into the fandom, I started looking at all of the points, asked my Uncle Martin, and read some old programming sheets, and decided the point being would say that Danny and Sam would be Dani's parents in another parallel.
(BTW, my uncle knows Hartman. That's how I got program sheets for the characters.)

Here's my theory: when a halfa breeds/cross-clones with a ghost or a human, the genetics mixes with that specific half. Dani's Ghost half Desiree while her human half is 100% Danny and vice versa with the human half and the other hosts. The human side can also be dominate when it comes to the aesthetics, a god way to explain why Dani looks like Danny while her sisters look like their mothers.

A genetically altered clone is still a clone. The same basic DNA is used. That's like saying X-23 of Marvel isn't a clone of Wolverine. It's just X-1 to X-22 were all male clones and they all failed.
Still, the idea of her being a form of offspring isn't TOO far off. In fact, Dani's genetic deterioration isn't far off either. The first cloned sheep had issues too. Just...not in that it melted.
