the title is a quote from Pirates of the Caribbean, yes. I just thought it fit the look in his eyes, and I couldn't think of a better title myself..
yes, this is Spike. Not Sasuke, not Snape, just another attempt to draw my character Spike as human.
He's younger here, about twelve or something I'd say. His tired and serious eyes makes him look older. He gets told a lot that he looks very mature for his age, but it's probably just that his eyes give the face a more mature look; he has the eyes of a child without a childhood who had to grow up fast, and has endured so much pain..
And yes, if you look closely, you can see the green in them :3
..I hope this drawing looks ok.
I suck at drawing humans when I have no reference to look at.. But I'm learning!..aaaand I've run out of things to say XD

While it does show a lot of Spikes emotions and frustrations. His appearance alone already tells that there are some serious issues he's dealing with and a lot of victims are less visible. A lot of victims are unfortunately less visible.

Can you PLEASE make a tutorial on this?
One can clearly see he's a child, but indeed he have a serious look that any older adult could have. He's thin and looks small, but has obviously seen and experienced much more than most children in his neigbourhood.
On another note, I don't know WHAT it is, but he looks like he's part asian for some reason.
I hope the book you're writting on will be published in Sweden, that would make one sucker here very happy.

Just curious... Why no leather jacket? I think the slight worn/shiny effect might top this off? But yeah, other... Wow... I just, I'm lost for words.

It makes me happy how he still looks like the exact same character, even though there are obviously vast differences between this and his anthro form..
