It's odd, isn't it, how the human mind can see something that indicates decay and ruin and yet still find it beautiful and inspiring. This is such a piece.

Clever idea switching the sides like that, I hope you shot a ton more of these buildings. What an excellent location for stock textures !!!

Oh I would say this photo rocks. I hate to make a commentary when lots of people made, but it worth to say something.

wow, you are like hugely popular on DA nowadays. this is a beautiful piece. i really don't like the black line split in the middle. i feel these two panels should either be pushed together, or viewed as two separate pieces next to eachother. the black framing is just a bit overbearing for me. +favs tho. i have a VERY similar study with 4 windows, cropped just like you have it. imma look for it...
(we haven't talked in a long time, lets get in touch soon)

the textures are beatiful, i love old falling-apart buildings. one of them is not perfectly straight though, so the lines dont work out as nice. especially when you put them one next to each other.

man. i love this shot.
funny,...how we can find beauty in such a diversely wide scope
of things.
i have to wonder about the chaos that brought about this.
the sadness that no doubt at some point was the product.
and yet, after the fact, we come across it and find a picture.
we humans are strange i guess.
we don't mean anything by it.
colors, textures,...very nice.

i see you're back on track ?
or you still were here but didn't really get to the 'upload part' of the deviants job, if that is a job ..
* craptalk *
the thing i like the most are the colors i think.
it's cool that you can see how the wall is build-up ..
i must say i would like it more when there was only one picture of the two just because one did the job for me, two are just making it better ..
great job ..
hope there are more pictures comin' up from your trip to latvia
