Description Yes, it was time for me to give shuttlecrafts a try in my Star Trek AU, so here you have one.

It is a Galileo-Type shuttlecraft, named the Galileo 5. It was assigned to be used by the crew onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.

The Galileo shuttles were the most spacious shuttles in Starfleet, capable of carrying seven passengers, and still had enough space for storing eventual weapons, if needed. As for propulsion, they were capable of traveling at impulse speed, and thanks to two smaller sized warp nacelles, they were also capable of traveling at warp speed… But nothing faster than warp factor 1.52, since any greater speed would completely tear the shuttle apart. These early shuttles didn't have any defensive weapons, like phasers installed, so they were in no way good for combat, and were therefore only used for transportation of passengers, when the ship's transporter was for any reason not an option. The shuttles only had one single windscreen, at the front, which had a darkened visor that could cover it, in case close flying to any extremely bright light.

For the body of this shuttle, I used this drawing of the Galileo 5 shuttle that was used in "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier", made by bagera3005 .

For the warp nacelles, I used the nacelles from Quantum808 's perfect ortho of my AU version of the Enterprise.

(I don't own Star Trek. Paramount Pictures and Viacom does. I'm just a fan.)

(Don't steal this. Please ask before using this, or any of my other starships. Thanks in advance for your understanding.)

Thanks.

Even though it's called the Galileo 5, I think you can see that I wanted its specs to be like the Galileo 7, from TOS.
