Description In 1962, at the beginning of the so-called Silver Age of comic books, and after the success of the Fantastic Four and other characters like Hulk, Ant-Man or Iron Man, the editorial director of Marvel Comics asked its lead writer Stan Lee, to create a new superhero.

At that time, the teenage characters in superhero comic books were usually reserved as fellow of the main hero, but Stan Lee could not stand that kind of character and Spider-Man broke this trend, presenting them as protagonists. Readers immediately be identified with Peter Parker, the alter ego of Spider-Man, by nature timid, their loneliness and their limited ability to fit between young people of their age.

Stan Lee cites among his influences, crime fighter The Spider, which was published in the form of pulp type magazine.

Lee introduced the draft editorial director Martin Goodman, but he rejected the role, considering that the spiders were not in the public taste. He allowed, however, to submit to Spider-Man in the final number in a series that showed different stories in each issue, usually about monsters, aliens and paranormal phenomena. The series is called Amazing Adult Fantasy, which, for what would be his last number (the fifteenth), changed its name to Amazing Fantasy.

Jack Kirby, the largest contributor to Lee, was the one who was commissioned to draw that first story. However, Lee was not too happy with the results. In his view, the Spider-Man designed by Kirby reminded other heroes who drew it: too muscular, like Captain America. The commission then turned to the hands of Steve Ditko, artist darker than Kirby, used to give life to mysterious and unusual heroes. Ditko give the final image of Spider-Man, completely discarding the previous work of Kirby who had used a traditional superhero costume and a partial mask, gloves and buccaneer boots, and a kind of gun that fired a spider web. Instead, Ditko designed a costume recognizable from any perspective, very original mask and big white eyes closed, which acted as a hero Spider-Man a little sinister.

Well here I leave my humble version of one of my favorite characters and I think many people because we have all dreamed of climbing the walls like spiderman does, heh, heh, heh.

----

It seems like it is exaggerated. Because those three web lines that's in the center of his chest, that traces up to his neck is the front piece of his neck. And going from that to the back of his neck where the his Trapezius muscle... That part where it hints between the back oh his head and Trapezius... Uh, yeah, it is one huge bulky neck.

Your coloring skills with getting all that detail is good and all, but I do have an issue with the anatomy.
