Description
OTartaros, one of the first primeval gods, one of the creatrix. The architect of the next world, the builder of home and the sower of fields in Elysium. The God of the element of Fire, of shadows and the protector of souls, so they need not plague the living. The fact that Hades dethrones him to legislate the dealing of the dark souls, is not his doing. Just as much as Satan was tricked into his role by God in Abrahamic Mythology. So I have never seen Otartaros as a "dark" god. In fact I find him a most pleasing and welcome god and I give thanks to him for his creating a home for the souls of my ancestors.

Most of the time Otartarus was spoken of in a dark way. And yet in some places in ancient Hellas, he is the opposite. When I first read of Otartaros as being a homemaker and the architect of the next world, as well as its original king, my view of his majesty changed. Here I gave Otartarus garments to fit his fiery element. The bulls on his throne and shield symbolize his chthonic realm. His drum-like crown actually comes from a pottery depiction of King Minos, which I made copper, to add to the fire element. The black Onyx pinecones are from my own vision. Oh, and the figures on his Himation comes from a pottery image; in this case humans and satyrs dancing in the next worlds with birds flying above.
