Here it is, all finished! My staff for my costume for Blizzcon 2008 (less than a month omg!) I love how it turned out. It was such a great learning experience and being able to create something (even just a prop weapon) with one's own hands is SUCH a good feeling. I had no idea if I was going to be able to pull this off, but I did. So happy! Now for the rest T.T ... At least I am officially 1/3 of the way done.All in all this took approx. 30 hours to make. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Lol, not yet. I worked on the robe some more last night. I had to make a vest that goes over the dress with another layer of fabric attached to the vest that sort of looks like two big triangles of fabric that hang on either side of me, with this weird hole thing in the back that shows through to the main dress. I experimented with an old sheet and it looks great! Going to go buy some trim and fabric paint today. Shoulders will be the first to get done though. I plan on getting those done FOR SURE this weekend since next weekend I will be out of town. UGH. TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
