Description Its a small brick chapel, lost in some desertic planet. Often used as an outpost by Inquisiton.

This is my entry for ruins contest.

I built it brick by brick with a weekly magazine for miniature fans. It was a medieval chapel, but I changed it a bit to be used in Warhammer 40k.

The rock was painted with the Inquisition symbol, and the flag came from a guardsmen miniature a friend forgot in my home long ago...

The "sand" was made with a semi-transparent brown piece of clothe, put over a wooden table.

That's amazing! All those bricks... must have taken ages. Did you have to make then from a rod of some description, or is it possible to buy minibricks in packets? Either way though, that would have been quite a challenge to put together. The roof looks good too, the slats look very well laid.

Thanks!

Yap, it took some time
Well, I bought a kit with all the mini-bricks, roof and etc, but I think it isn't hard to make your own mini-bricks... I guess you just need a bit of clay and a ruler to cut it

You're welcome! Hmm, might have to find a kit like that one day too; though I'd probably make a blunder of it Still be fun though I imagine.

Oh yes! I almost reached nirvana making that walls brick by brick

Usually there are kits like that in magazine stores... At least here in Brazil...

I'll keep my eyes peeled; a newsaency does actually sound like a probable place to find such kits. Thanks!

I to dig the inquisition symbol on the rock, I will need to do something like that for one of my own buildings, though not for the contest.

If you got Photoshop, you should try [link]

Its the best collection of Warhammer photoshop brushes I ever saw (my inquisition symbol came from there )

That shows some great patience, nicely done! Did you free hand paint the inquisition symbol?

Not that much... I printed it in a piece of paper, cutted it off and used the paper as stencil...

Not so big. About 60cm each side...

In fact, its quite small for Warhammer miniatures to get in...
