So I've been watching Death Note and I noticed some weird similarities between L and I...the way he sits, the sugar thing...but I'll talk about that more in my journal. But the weirdest thing was when I was watching an episode yesterday while eating this little bag of bear cookies...and I look up...and L in eating THE EXACT SAME THING!!!! And I mean, this isn't something you can find at Wal-Mart or anything - I found these cookies at a rather sketchy Asian food mart and I've never seen them anywhere else. I mean, what kind of freaky coincidence is that?!So basically, I knew I had to make a picture like this.
The other weird thing is that I took the picture of L from a screenshot of Win media player...which NEVER works when I want it to! It's usually a weird image that keeps shifting when I try to crop it...it's hard to describe, but it makes no sense and doesn't work...so for me to be able to even get that shot, the planets have to align, I have to wiggle my fingers and toes, and the temperature must be inversely proportional to average speed limit in Arles, France.
So yeah...total weirdness on all levels.
(Oh, and mine are koalas and L's are pandas...I think the panda ones were vanilla XP )

I never noticed the similarities between L and myself until my friends started pointing them out to me---physical similarities and personality as well. When I would meet new people, my friends would introduce me to them as L. Of course, this was years ago when there was only the manga and hardly anyone knew what Death Note was, but I still get phone calls asking for "L."
I haven't actually seen any of the anime.

Thanks for the link, though I already have the show. I've had it forever, I just haven't watched it because I was kinda scared to, because you know how the movie (or tv show) is never as good as the book, right? I've seen a few episodes now, though. So far so good.

Well, normaly you can't take screenshots from videos. It's because of the way the computer plays them I really don't know how to explain it but the only way to take a screenshot from a video like that is using a video editing program like Adobe Premiere or something and save 1 frame. Now about the food... I think it's actually normal... ^^U I mean obviously you won't find japanese food on an american place... you normaly find japanese food where they sell japanese food (duh) xD so probably that cookie is sold there because of that... like probably many other japanese sweets and food. O.o

Oh, I mean it's abnormal because most people don't go to japanese stores to buy sweets. I mean, pocky is standard anime fair bur you can find that at wal mart.

Well, not every country has japanese stores either xD I wish we had one here... o.O I would so go buy some sweets... x3 Pockey doesn't even count as japanese here since we got local brands of pockey xD about screenshots... nah... just put them on any video editing program, save 1 frame and there you have ^^
