Although it's true that I'm incredibly excited to be moving to Seattle in a few months, I do have to admit that Boise has a lot of pretty areas. I'll miss you yet, you crazy old city . . .

i live in a city and we never go camping or anything so ive never been to l;ike a forest with a river (well its just usually dry bush)

Aw, you need to convince someone to go camping with you sometime.

The cool thing about this place though, is that it's seriously a couple minutes from downtown. Boise's sort of a smallish city, so we have a lot of the usual city stuff, and then we just have this river running right through the middle of things, with all sorts of little offshoots and cool bridges and a ton of trees. It's a good mix.

Very pretty! I hated moving too. I moved from a small city with lots of beautiful little spots to a big city with...suburbs.

At least with Seattle, I do know there are going to be some shiny things. I've already been dying to take pictures at the Gas Works (it's so steampunk looking) and the little islands nearby are adorable. Maybe it'll actually entice me to take urban shots for once, too. I seem to be avoiding those for some reason.

I like this!

It almost seems like a very nice painting, especially if I focus on the lower part of the piece. I think it's because of the overall feel of the photo mainly influenced by the hue.

I do somewhat dislike the upper part because my eyes can't seem to find a place to focus on, but the lower part is absolutely lovely.

Thank you very much. I was actually wondering if I had made the color a little too golden, but just said, "Screw it," and submitted it anyway, because after the initial adjustment anything else just looked too washed out.
