What was the story you were told, out of curiosity?

i was told that she sat on the jagged cliffs and rocks and sang so sad and beautifully men crashed their ships into the rocks our jumped to their death at sea to be with her, causeing her to sing even sadder and thus orer men wanting to be with her (and ending up dead in the process)

I should probably be reading your writing, but I can resist art-nouveau-esque sea women leading sailors to their doom.

It's all good to me. I'm trying to do more art nouveau things at the current moment, but it's going very slooooowly.

I love your drawing style, you make everything look... liquid. The lines flow together, it makes the picture come alive.

Thank you. ^^ I've heard the "liquid" idea from others, and I'll admit, as a descriptor I rather like it.
Sorry for how late this reply is, my messages have been piling and I've been insanely lazy/busy/whatever...

Oi, you remember the first Twirrel story I did? The one about the naiad. I might publish that along with all the Twirrels. Can I have this drawing for the print? Will give credit, though you might need to wait a year or so to see your name on a page.
Gimme dibs and the occasional hand-out and I'll send you a copy at the end of it.

Hmmm... Just a copy? If you have serious intentions of publishing things, I wouldn't mind taking a larger role in illustration - make it something more of a joint project. I'd also be willing to contribute poems (say, of people who have sighted the Twirrel over the ages) should you not object. Or whatever. I likes projects. Just a thought.
Though of course you have dibs on drawings. It's not like I'm really doing anything with them otherwise.
