If someone saved art onto their computer off of photobucket or google or something would it be considered art theft?
Because one of my friends does it all the time and she says it's not, but it really bugs me because half of photobucket is made from people ripping pics off of DA.

depends, is she using the images for her own drawings and tracing/coping them and posting them back up on the net as her own?
If she is, then yes it is art theift, if she is just saving them onto her computer for private use, then no it's not.

Art thievery is pretty annoying, but I think it's only really a big problem if the theif manages to make money off it. Which is pretty rare. Besides, it seems that around 80% of art thieves are semi-literate preeteen girls who upload anime fanart they found on Google. Hardly evil criminals, just stupid people.
I really like how cranky Terry looks, but I think I'd either change her hair or outfit so they don't clash. Her boots are really cool and her wings and horns are really cute. :3

yeah generally they are. I have seen some pretty horrid stuff but mostly it's ignorance. I used to do art theft and didn't even KNOW it was. It's embarrassing as hell 
and I wanted it to clash *snickers* makes her hair stand out more.
