Description
This is part of dA Internal Affairs .was kind enough to be a part of this project. I've had a very nice time meeting her in person and working with her.
This is from the second part of our shoot where she's NOT posing in her own jeans and her lovely sweater...
That mark on her cheek is her hair and I didn't want to remove it digitaly...ok?
was there supporting this.
ps: I wasn't sure whether I should submit this as digital art or photography and I'm still not sure...Categories annoy the hell out of me...

when i stare in a particular area on the photo (somewhere in the center), i feel that the figure is swinging! that she will step back and she will glide into the void, or she'll maybe manage to fly...then i see the shadow and i understand the "illusion".
so, except from the technically perfect shooting, you have done and very good post production work here [clouds, floor, colors]!
i cannot judge what the figure "reflects". only that in this -i- can see a piece of me.

That's very close to what I saw! I feel that "she" will let herself fall back into that void (which I like to think has no end), and the shadow is there just to let me feel safe cause I have "fear of heights".

That's so wonderful, especially because it looks so strange that there's no shadow on the floor. I really like that, looks like she is flying.
(And once again, the scenery is just awesome. I so love the floor.)

Thank you very much. The reason that there's no shadow on the floor is because the light comes from behind the camera (from a window). It doesn't come from above.

Thank you very much. All I had to do regarding the make up was to ask ~Fragho for a retro look. The dress was also something that she found in a βεστιάριο (what's that called in English?...).

Amazing capture. I love this one. It has an air of the old 1920's backstage shots, except for the slight surrealistic tint. She seems so very displaced and out of character, yet there's a silent and serious grace to her. Very nice work, my friend.

Ha ha ha...that was funny but it also gives me courage coming from you. Commenting and faving is something that I am very strict at (besides the fact that I am veeeery sloooow at deciding how much I like something sometimes). I don't do favours to anyone. If I love something I fave it. If it makes me say something I say something. I'm not so sure that others operate the same way. I do think that you don't "return favours" either and that is another reason I get excited if I receive a comment from you. Honesty seems to be such a time-saver as I grow older.

True indeed. No, I don't do favours. I mean, I do consider you a friend of sorts (I don't really believe in internet based socializing) but that doesn't mean I comment or throw you bones. That's why I sort of had to start over with this dA shit, I needed this to be based upon my work, not how much ass I kiss. Force it to be more objective about my art in a way. I have enough real people in my life to get along without all this deviantart gibberish. I respect honesty, it is a rarity and yes, a time-saver.

The background is partially a photograph of a sky. I suppose it is the grey tint of the wall that makes it look stormy
