See, this is what I like to do... I sculpt stuff and then make it magically double! Why have only ONE Daring Do when I can make pieces for LOTS of Daring Dos, Does, Do-esse... How do you make a plural out of Daring Do?Anyway, Adventure Pack tree #1 first cast is complete! I'm still setting up the mold for the pith helmet, so it'll be a couple more days before I have a full-out Adventure Pack ready.
I'm not going to be offering these right away. I need to check to see if Rainbow's molds are in decent enough shape to make some more castings-- basically because you can't make Daring Do without a Loyalty Kit. But once I get her helmet finished up and things figured out, I'll get a price point figured out and we'll see about getting a few of them out to the masses!
Oh yeah, and you can probably see what horrible things making the molds does to my original sculpts... The originals got thrashed while I was cutting open the mold... I'm going to have to keep one of the first casts as a "master" because, dang, I'm not going to be able to repair that!

Do you have any images of what a completed mold looks like? I'm an art history student so seeing all of these images of your process is making me geek out in a bookish way

The molds are the big silicone rubber blocks-- and you can also see the Lego boxes I built to pour them in, and how I set them up.

Yeah, it's never easy. Sometimes I get lucky and things come out pretty much unscathed, but it's pretty rare for them to survive without any damage.

Yeah, it's a shame to see all your hard work get messed up like that for the molds...but at least you can make many more to make up for it!
