well, i doubt that it's really a font that's used in this widget.
telling from the animation when the digits change, i hardly think that it's possible to do that with regular fonts and actually think that the dots (pixels) are generated and drawn on the desktop through codework.

what organize the right click menu?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

OtisBee In reply to MetalKai [2009-10-14 10:40:37 +0000 UTC]

thanks a whole lot for your !!
i'm not quite sure, but i think it's Stardock's IconX which slightly alters the appearance of the rightclick menu.
besides i use TuneUp Utilities to add/delete certain context menu entries (especially the "New" items).

anyways, ...thx again.

MetalKai In reply to OtisBee [2009-12-01 17:50:54 +0000 UTC]

can say as organizations with the tuneup?

well, that's difficult to describe, i think.
i guess you'd have to try for yourself one day.
personally i wouldn't wanna miss TuneUp anymore.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

OtisBee In reply to pk1st [2009-10-14 10:49:05 +0000 UTC]

what do you mean?
the lyrics viewer?
that's part of the CD Art Display skin i used in this screenshot.
CD Art Display is capable of displaying the lyrics to a song (if available) by default and it's up to the skinner how a lyrics viewer should look like for the according skin.
in this case you're looking at my abandon slim skin.

Orca239 [2009-06-24 19:24:26 +0000 UTC]

This is really amazing! I've been looking for an interesting way to do my desktop, and this kind of thing is perfect! Thanks so much for putting it up. By the way, how did you get the taskbar to do that? With just a little tab for Start and a little tab for the Tray?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

OtisBee In reply to Orca239 [2009-06-25 08:37:15 +0000 UTC]

cool, ..i'm glad you like it this much and i thank you for your fav!

well, for the tiny tabs ("Start" and "Tray") i'm actually using the pay-version of Stardock's ObjectDock Plus [link] which enables me to have systray functionality and multiple docks (including socalled "tabbed" ones).
there's also an option in ObjectDock Plus to hide the windows' taskbar and here's a [link] on how to accomplish single tabbed dock drawers.
inside of that "Start" tabbed dock i'm using a startmenu docklet [link] to replace windows' start button as well as shutdown docklet [link] for quick access on reboot and of course shutdown.

i hope that was helpful.
good luck and thanks again.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Orca239 In reply to OtisBee [2009-06-30 02:22:42 +0000 UTC]

Ah, yeah I have ObjectDock Plus, but the systray feature never worked for me correctly... and the Stardock forums haven't been all that helpful. Oh well, I still got everything to work out good, so thanks again! Now if only the No Name skin didn't make it everything black-ish so you can't see with it... ah well, I'll deal.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

OtisBee In reply to Orca239 [2009-06-30 05:04:00 +0000 UTC]

sorry to hear about those systray issues.
btw. there are some brighter substyles in the No Name theme as well.
perhaps that will suffice.

Hi.
I need your hellp. I'm using informer (great widget by the way) and I donΒ΄t wanna see the widgets Dock , just the informer like you do in your screenshot. What I need to do?

Thanks

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

OtisBee In reply to emecoelho [2009-03-09 14:16:01 +0000 UTC]

well, i don't know what's it going to be in english, but it should work if you'd rightclick the yahoo!widgets icon in your systray and then select the 4th item in the list.
something like hide console or hide dock.

hope that was helpful.

sehr schΓΆn.
was'n das fΓΌr ein image viewer?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

OtisBee In reply to micdt [2009-03-07 14:53:41 +0000 UTC]

"......for quickly viewing images i'm actually using an older programm which adds an entry in the regular windows' context menu and showing me a thumbnail if i'd rightclick on all sorts of various image files.

once you'd click on that thumbnail the according image would then be shown in a separate window.

the programm is called "PicaView" [link] and was a module in ACDSee for a long time.

so what you see in the screenshot is an image displayed by PicaView and framed by my currently used WBtheme ( "No Name" by *amaeli )...."

hoffe das ist hilfreich.
danke fΓΌr dein feedback!

danke, hatte es bereits geguhglt.

probiere gerade CAD aus. dummerweise findet er keine cover (online). muss einen merkwΓΌrdigen geschmack haben

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

OtisBee In reply to micdt [2009-03-08 15:36:05 +0000 UTC]
