Wow, another one of your interesting paintings. Lovely close up - beautiful colours, such lovely glowing colours, especially like your use of beautiful neutrals.

Thanks Karin, I'm delighted you like it enough to fav!
As for the colours, actually it was YOU who gave me the idea when we were talking about purples: Permanent rose and Ultramarine! So thanks once more! Then mix in some green and you get marvelous grays/ neutrals

Wow another lovely exotic flower, very nice colors!
It will cost an arm and leg to have this full size framed, is this from your beautiful garden?

Do you still have the same gardener taking care of your summer home?

Oh dear, no. He died quite a few years ago, I'm very sorry to say. Now there's a younger bloke who comes to do the heavy work, but there is no more vegetable patch like the old gardener always planted for me. I do miss my fresh veggies, lettuce etc. but on the other hand it means less work for me; no more pulling weeds, harvesting and daily watering.

Oh yeah, I remember you mention it. What heavy work do you have there when you only stay there for 3 months a year?

What heavy work? You got to be kidding! Try mowing grass, pruning shrubs, trees and rose bushes, cutting dead branches off trees, cleaning out the forest.... and that's just for a start. I might be there for only 4 months a year, but the vegetation sure as hell doesn't take a vacation!

You surprise me. I mean you do have a garden, don't you? So all your shrubs and trees and such... what? Made of plastic??

I must be somebody with the "reddest thumb" I do not do any gardening. I pay somebody to do it, just like you with the "young bloke" who does the "heavy work" for you
I had simply thought the young bloke not tending the veggies garden like your previous "old bloke", so what "heavy work" he had to do and you had to "worry" about.
