And now for a little light relief for a few days. 'Dad's Army' was a superb, and much loved comedy series that ran on BBC television from 1968 to 1977, set in a Home Guard unit in WW2. Nearly all the original cast are now dead, but a new film has just been released with some leading British actors playing the same characters. I've only seen trailers, so I won't comment on whether it's any good, but it does feature more women than the original series, so I thought I'd take the chance to TG some of the roles!

These minicaptions are really just cartoons. If you haven't seen the original series, or haven't lived in the UK, they won't mean much to you. I suggest you go back to sleep; my 'dark stuff' will resume in a few days. But for those of you of 'a certain age' please let me know if you like these or not!
