This is inspired by a scene from episode 9I think the equalists and Bryke aren’t good at physics.
Well, I don’t think I was the only one who noticed this at the first time that watched this episode… Anyone else noticed? OMG I’m so nerdy!

actually faraday cages arent necessarily made of metal.. and even then faraday cages are grounded with copper wire, so korra would've fried. as for cars pasengers dont get struck because the electricity defuses into the rubber in the tires

You're making a common mistake: the energy of lightning is too big to isolate a tire. Even a tire can be a conductor. Talk to your physics teacher because I'm tired of explaining to so many people

o.o oh.. googled it and it seems your right. but as for actual official faraday cages they need to be grounded with copper wire in order to block out any electrical pulses

I though about the Faraday cage when they shocked the metalbenders in the bending arena, under the attack- Don't they have a full metal uniform?..
