the Tin Man's back story is depressing cuz he got in a wood shopping accedent and some guy put him in a tin body and used his body as a lab drone

Surprised you didn't go the whole hog: Turn the lion into a wookie, put Dorothy's hair up into Leia buns and give the scarecrow a blaster or lightsabre or something.

The lion is no longer the coward of the group.
