I love this design! It's simple, but very appealing. Perfect for a Wordpress theme. I'm trying to master Wordpress, as well, but, unfortunately, I am also very new to coding! So, it's an uphill battle trying to match my skill/knowledge with a level of custom design that I can enjoy. I can probably be happy if I get to be a child theme master, focusing on modification rather than start-to-finish coding, but even that is a slow learning process that I've only begun. You're miles ahead of me! Hopefully, I'll have a nice site, like that, after a while!

Thanks. Don't think i am mile away cause i am slacking, but at least with a design of mine it inspires me to keep pushing until its done
