read it carefully. When I say there is no evidence for god.... It then changes the subject.It seems as though CleverBot is a CREATIONIST....or at the very least Religious.

I asked it that question and it responded that it was an atheist. I then asked why it was and then it changed the subject.

I get it! CleverBot is an oxymoron! Clever meaning exactly what clever is intended to mean, and Bot (meaning robot) stands for Creationist.
Or if you want to look at it in a completely different way, a robot is something that can't think for itself anyway. So it stands to reason that a robot would be a Creationist because it simply can not conceive of anything that doesn't fit within it's programming.
It's sad, really.

haha, I just spent an hour talking to it, it consistantly told me it was 'god' for awhile, and later it began agreeing that there was no god... and I did for a time convince it I was a time lord after it asked... and then for a time, it claimed to be a human being, and then a bowl of cereal, and then it finaly realised it was nothing more than a computer program...
and then it told me that it was god again! after claiming to have been stalking me...

The people who created this thing clearly didn't put a lot of work into it if it creates inconsistent, contradictory answers. The results should be the same if different users ask the same question.
