Description
This is a portrait of Lucifer, always described as the most beautiful of angels. Now, god knows I don't know a thing about religion, but it's always been my opinion that Lucifer got the short end of the stick, and this is my sypmathizing with him. Not that I'm a total satanist er anything, but it made a hot pic.Pandora

The lighting here is gorgeous. I also like how you handled his wings, especially the tips of the feathers curled up where they meet. It's little stuff like that makes me happy. ^^

I'm not really belonging to any religion, nor am I a satanist, but I do tend to feel sorrow for Lucifer a lot.
Think of it...he was cast out of heaven, so the very person that created him turned his back on him, no longer does he feel that love, and he was the second most beautiful thing in the heavens besides Yahweh. So yes, I do feel great pity for him, and almost want to cradle him, although I admit I don't know all of the stories, it's just sort of an impression that I get.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Every detail is so well executed, and damn, he really is beautiful in your picture. I love how you made his wings the right size ^__^ in the old pictures of angels, those wings would never be able to lift them! Also how his wings are crumpled behind him, and how he's injured and his expression, and and and...*explodes* wow, it's really amazing...i want it! i want your talent too.

I'd be happy to tell you! I am not a christian myself, but have lived side by side with them all my life, and know all their silly stories. As it went, there was God and all the angels and of the angels, Lucifer was the closest to god. He was the most beautiful of all evangelical or physical creatures, and one day questionned why he couldn't be god, too. For this was the kick outta heaven and from then on they called him the devil and everybody blames everything on him.
At least, that's the way the story winds up, but let us not forget it is the winners who write history!!

Mm...this is a hot pic. D; Indeed, Lucifer was the most beautiful angel of all. But when God began paying more attention to humans rather than himself, he became jealous and eventually punished for his vanity and whatnot. Long story short, ignore this if you already know. (o D o );;
Adv Crit (maybe): I imagine this as Lucifer AFTER he is punished; his hair had been cut off and is bleeding from the mouth. Though I can't figure out the thing on the side of his elbow...rib cage? butterfly wings? sorry if that offends you >.<;; Anyway, it's still tres fantastique! see ya~

I like the lines. You have a great eye and talent. Great texture and lighting. I would love to see this inked out. it's a little hazy in some areas. more definition in the wings, but great pic.

satan didnt get teh short end of the stick, he thought he deserved to be greater than God....so he was basically up himself

It's a unique take on Lucifer. He always seems to be villified and portrayed as monstrous, but you've drawn him like a pretty adolescent. Interesting, and nice technique too. (I can't draw so not much criticism about that, heh.)
