All things aside i think the work is amazing. An elf with a sense of humor in skyrim, ha thats something you don't see all that much.

I have the ethernal elven thing right now, but I don't want to mod too much so they lose their elven traits. It's hard yes, but I like it that way XD

People can say what they will about the elves, but I think they look really, really cool; and she especially looks kick-ass (her eyes, for instance 
And this is coming from someone who usually plays a Nord in Skyrim; primarily because I feel it's only appropriate that Dovahkiin's a Nord, as silly as that may seem. xP

And... though I may get stoned for saying it... elven features in Skyrim are HORRIBLE! I'm sorry, they really are. I'm not sure why the artists wanted to go for an Area 51 look for elves but they really did. I can't stand them but then, I'm a bit of a Tolkien purist.
It doesn't matter when you love your character and their story. It's just always been an obstacle for me playing one in the game. I don't care about "pretty" I just don't want them to look like they've stepped off of a UFO.
that's just me. I'm sayin' I wouldn't draw her like that either. XD

The Skyrim Team I think wanted to try and get away from the whole 'Humans with pointy Ears' Stereyotype, it takes a bit of effort but a good looking Elf is possible.

When I think about it, you're right about the elves looks like aliens.

Yeah. I respect them for trying something different. I just wish it had turned out as something I could tolerate through my eye-holes. ;-P It's all good. I've not played the other ES games so for all I know, this fits the lore perfectly.

elfes are generic, they are in EVERY fantasy game, and they are basically humans with a long face and long ears

compare elves from skyrim with elves from LOTR, sweetheart. I understand what you mean, but that doesn't mean I want them to look like they are filled with plastic. Admit it, they got too much "shine" on those beauty mods, it looks like someone poured gasoline or oil on them and forgot to set them on fire

don't use the beauty mods, use the body individual mods, they are not exactly silky and smooth
it's only the hole body mods that make them looks like they came straight from redtube

ya have to find them yourself, they are detail enhancing mods, that do not prettify it, besides adding detail, and removing that ugly blocky look of the head and body.
It smooths out the meshes (the building lines) and makes it look, well, better
