Uploaded in higher resolution than usual, so the file is bigger.Heh, I think that this is the first picture ever that I've been doing during two years. I started this one in the last day of 2005, and finished it in 2th January 2006. Three days, but still two years.
Her cloth didn't like me at all, it seemed that it had never heard of the word 'realistic' (or laws of physics), but I think it turned out quite well. At least in the lower part of the picture.
Well, I had just got new set of Derwent Studio color pencils, and they were begging to be used. Who cares about ideas or good poses, when you can test your new colors.. And I need more practise in boobs. Some parts of this pic were pain to draw, but I don't mind about it in my drawings. For me a drawing can be so hard and painful as it ever can be, just if it doesn't get boring. Boring pictures turn up to be left unfinished. Sometimes hard pictures tend to turn out to be surpsisingly good.
I think that I had something reasonable to say here, I just can't remember what it was. Ah, well..
Edit: Original is sold. (And prints were never taken. Stupid me...)

This looks so elegant. Both dancer and fabric and there is quite a great contrast in their colors that they mesh well.

This is just beautiful Pearl ^^ The flow of that fabric couldnt be any better, excellent job of shading, it really gives it a lot of definition and makes that lower section pop out at you. And what a pretty wolf dancer that is bringing the cloth to life! She has a slender elegance that compliments her form well, great job on the fur and mane. And y'know, the boobs dont look all that bad either. The underside gives it the form, and shading helps define. I dont think youre too far from mastering it.

:sigh: what great coloring... you must be very good to your pencils, because they sure seem to like to go to work for you! I especially like how her right arm turned out; that hand is just ever so delicately poised. Jeez, even your signature is artistically placed 
I dunno about boobs, but you have the abdomen down pat. Those tufts of fur along her waist are great..
And, who likes to obey the laws of physics, anyways

Wow... This is just so beautiful... I mean your coloring skills are so stunning and very smooth also your colors just blend so nicely. Your wolves are always so amazing also.. I love your creative poses and how your anatomy is still so amazing. I am loving the fur texture also, and your canids faces are always so amazing.

No zomg. Ensin sitä luulee olevansa kohtalainen piirtäjä ja sitten tulet sinä ja viet viimeisetkin itsetunnon rippeet mennessäsi.. Nojoo, viisastelu sikseen. Siis.. detaljit! Turkki, tassut, ilme, kangas.. minulta olisi mennyt viiko tai pari päästä edes lähelle tuota tasoa! Miten sait valöörit noin tasaisiksi?

Harjoitusta, harjoitusta.. Mutta kiitoksia. ^^ Umh, tou olikin vaikea kymysys.. Kun hinkkaa kynällä samaa kohtaa tarpeeksi kauan, ja kun kynän painamista vähentää hiljalleen siirryttäessä vaaleampiin kohtiin, niin siitä tulee jokseenkin tasaista. Tummissa kohdissa painetaan paljon, ja mitä vaaleammaksi kohta käy, sitä vähemmän painetaan. Ja kaikkein tummimpiin varjoihin käytetään hiukan tummempaa värisävyä, samalla systeemillä kuin vaaleammallakin värillä.

The texture is just stunning as is the anatomy, like always. I love the flow of the cloth and the way it seems to float, as if soft like sheets. You are definitely better hands then me o_O And like always I must fav this SOOOO

I think her chest turned out just fine, as did the flowing fabric thingy, I luv how you colored the fabric especially!

I was just perusing through the browse window and said to myself "Damnit i'm not clicking on anything unless it really catches my interest" and then the thought got cut off as a set eyes on this piece. the entire piece is hugely amazing, but the fabric is definately the highlight as blue mentioned.

Täytyy ihan kadehtia noita sormia. Minulta ei vain ymmärrys riitä, miten jotkut osaavat piirtää niitä, kun meikäläisellä on jokin asenneongelma nidien kanssa. Niin kauan kun en piirrä sormia ihmiselle, kaikki on ihan hyvin - mutta ans kattoo, jos yritän piirtää ihmiskäden... Siitä ei tule mitään kaunista. Ja ai että tuota liinaakin - sitä katselee ihan ilokseen. 8) Valöörit suorastaan hellivät silmää.

Sormet ovat vaikeita, miulla kesti ainakin puoli vuosikymmentä keksiä, kuinka ne piirretään, ja vieläkin on joskus ongelmia. Onneksi pyyhekumit on keksitty. ^^" Kankaan varjoista saa muuten osittain kiittää siun Necoasi, aloin meinaan tätä värittäessäni miettiä, että millaista sinistä saisin aikaan, jos sekottaisin kahta värisävyä niinkuin sie teit Necon character sheetissä, ja kun sitä tapaa tuli jo kerran herrassa itsessään kokeiltua. Ei kyllä taida olla ihan samat värisävyt, mutta sinisiä kuitenkin.
