Yesterday was a bit bad day, so I felt like destressing was in order. Ended up I coloring a sketch I had done in the holidays.
Two of my dragons in Flight Rising , Pumpuli the three-legged tundra and Belnan my Coliseum tank wildclaw. Pumpuli is always there to borrow his soft spot for any friend in need. There's just no better method of sad removal than tundra fluff.

I wonder...Should the green dragon say "CAN I borrow" or "MAY I borrow" ? I would say "may"...

But... he does. He says: "Can I borrow your soft spot?"

In this case, he should say "May I borrow" *gently* "Can I borrow" implies the fact that His friend can grant him the ABILITY to do it, whereas "May I borrow" implies the PERMISSION to do it. Can you see the difference ?
Well, that is not important in itself, the drawing counts more, of course, and maybe English is not your primary language... Accept my greatest apologies if you find my post offensive

It may be incorrect by strict English paper standards, but "Can I [x]?" is a correct form in casual conversation like that shown in the image. "May I?" tends to come off as more formal and stiff as well, making "can I?" the more correct usage in this instance (given that he's asking to bury his face in the tundra's floof).
