Edit: Again, major, MAJOR changes. I gave you lovely people something that's never been done before. A fire fighting type starter. *Sigh* Like I said, I just couldn't come up with anything else, all roads lead to this. And honestly, in the end? I'm glad they did, I think this design is a lot more solid than the previous.Equarrel
The Majestic Pokemon
Fire/Fighting Type
Ability: Blaze
Equarrel are incredibly powerful Pokemon. They are usually trained by farmers in order to aid with the labor of upkeeping farms. These pokemon's hooves are about as strong as iron, and can heat up to unmeasurable temperatures, which helps ward off opponents fast when fighting.
Scolt --> Level 17 --> Horch --> Level 37 --> Equarrel

The design itself is good, but, i just can't... I'm sorry. I really liked the old Equarrel, but i felt that this change to a bipedal fire/fighting type starter to be so generic, and i fell that you can be more original than that. HOWEVER, I WANT you to know that i'm NOT in anyway trying to convince you from changing the design/typing or to dislike it, or even depreciate your art. The only thing that really matters is that YOU are happy with it, and that makes this one bearable for me. I hope you keep um the amazing work and i'm infinitely sorry if i offended you in ANY way

Well the old Equarrel was named Pegasear, and was a Fire/Flying type. Yeah, I liked the idea of having a pegasus as a starter, but I tried all sorts of ways to create a quadrapedal fire starter, and honestly, I couldn't find a design I was happy with. The moment I put it on two legs, though, it really seemed to work. I tried playing around with a few different type combinations, but since I was inspired by the Kentucky Derby for this things design, I wanted power to show above all else. I thought the best way to do so would be to give it the oh-so-dreaded Fire/Fighting type combination (which in all honesty never bothered me that much, I like all 3 of them). I felt that Pegasear's design was just too much for a starter. As a legendary I could see it working (aside from that awful super saiyin hair I gave it), but not as a starter. Too much going on.
In the end, I found a design I was happy with. I understand that not everyone is going to like it though, as it's a drastic change from what I'd originally had. I have no plans on changing this design, but maybe the mega will get it some more fans, who knows. Sorry ya' feel that way, but I think Equarrel is a great addition to the Naveno dex. I appreciate the respectful tone of your response, it means a lot to me when people are honest, and even more so when they're polite about it.

It's cool man. Can't please everybody, and if I tried to then I myself would never be happy. I'm okay with Fire/Fighting so long as the design is good, and I think I made a solid design here.

I really love it though, and I'm glad you feel solid about this one. Equarrel and Siberius will have to spar sometime, don't worry though. He won't use any water type moves

i love the massive body! i definitely choose fire, though i might have to keep it in it's first stage because i'm a sucker for cuties!!! lol

My favourite of the three so far, and since the beginning I always saw the potential in this Fakemon. I would so train one of these if it was a real Pokemon. My only faults with it are that the eye seems slightly idk, off? Same with the ponytail at the back, but maybe that's just me
I can't wait to see the Mega, do you reckon I could even help design them???
