My other Naveno Region Mascot. This guy is huge as well. It's stylized after trains and mountains, inspired by fossil fuels rather than crops like Harvestill. Appalachrain's siding that holds up it's mountain shell are actually the Native American symbol for mountains, as far as my research goes. The body is sectioned off into different compartments, and the head and feet draw inspiration from a train.Appalachrain

Dex: Appalachrain are said to live deep within the center of the Naveno region. This Legendary Pokemon is stated to house an incredible source of energy, that causes any machinery to stick to it's shell with a force so strong it becomes impossible to remove. This magnetic force is so powerful that it can derail trains and pull buildings down to the earth.

I really like the concept behind this one and the design is really clever, in general.

Yup! I decided to go with Energy as the theme for the Naveno region, since Kentucky is all about agriculture and the ongoing crisis with coal mining in the state. I'm really glad you like these two!
But you definitely can! My advice to you is to find a specific area that you want to turn into a fakemon region. Fight the urge to just make whatever sounds neat, and pick a theme, like a certain region or country. (I would avoid continents though, and to really make the region stand out, choose something that isn't done often!) Then study the plant life, animal life, culture, people, religion, beliefs, geography, and architecture of the region. Study it up and down, and then build your fakes based off of what you feel this area "represents". You want to pick out one feature about the area you choose, a feature that stands out to you, and then make that region the main focus of your fakemon region. From there, you'll easily be able to come up with legendary fakes, and all of the fakemon to fill up the dex with!
