Sheesh I can't believe it took me THIS LONG to upload this picture. I thought I had, then I was like, "Waaait.... *checks* Shiiiiit." Lulz.So yeah, this was our lovely cosplay group~ I was Gaara, Temari was my sister (awesome, yes? XD) and Kankuro was my sister's boyfriend.
Aaaand this was at Anime Boston 2010 which was damn AAAMAAAZINGGGG. My first con (effing finally got the money.) and I'm definitely going next year. Yes.
BTW.
I think you should ALL know that these cosplays were made by HAND. Yeah.
NO SEWING MACHINES.
NOTHING. D: Temari's dress took TEN HOURS to make.
By hand.
No measurements either.
I don't even know how that worked.. And yeah. The only things weren't made by hand were my pants, the main outline for my shirt, Kankuro's pants and the main outline of his shirt.

I rarely run across good cosplays of these three, but you all look fantastic. Your sister has the same face as Temari (shape and bone structure wise), I hope that's not weird to say, but she pulls her off very well. And you make a wonderful Gaara as well. If you don't mind me asking what did you do for the eyebrows?

Oh, those damned eyebrows. XD Haha, well I was gonna shave 'em off, but then I realized that'd be a terrible idea. So what I did was use a glue stick and put, like, 6 layers of that on them to flatten them and give it a smooth texture. I would put on each layer every 30 minutes. Then once it was all dry I used foundation and makeup to cover them. It was a long process, but the results were well worth it.

same here T^T I'll be at AB this year too. but only as an anbu because my gourd is out of commission. and I'm a poor college kid that cant afford to make my axel costume OTL. you'll be ther?

Oops. Well but I recomment to sew the stuff with a mshine when you get the chance, because the connection is much more sturdy than handsewn one. I can tell that from on experiences.
