She's the queen of something all right but it’s hearts

I've always hated their portrayal in the comics... I mean what so great about them????

Gambit has been the only one faithful in their relationship, even when they were still together, while Rogue has always been wondering about other men like Joseph, Colossus, Campbell, Pulse and now… Magneto. Only when they broke up did Gambit see other women. But when they were together, other women were of course interested in him but he shot them down. From Storm, Belle, Ginny, and Foxx (who was really Mystique) and so on.

Rogue even refused to just put on a power-blocker and spend the evening with Gambit... she claims that she doesn't like power-blockers but they'd be an efficient temporary solution to her "Ah Can't Touch No Body!!!" problem. Being in love and being with someone means you make sacrifices for the other… but Rogue was unwilling to do even that.

Rogue left him die in Antarctica and nobody in the X-Men questioned her doing that and they didn’t go searching for him. When he came back and they went looking for where he was, Rogue saw with her own eyes that Magneto was really Erik the Red, that he was the one who put Gambit on trial and almost killed him. But yet when she was able to touch anyone... she dumps him for Mag... how in the hell did anyone come to love these two being a pairing????
