Real change indeed, Venezuala now imports oil whille the country sits on one of the largest crude oil reserve worldwide. Thank you Hugo for this achievement through apllied socialism. And Naduro is a socialist nugget for the outcome of Venezuela....

Yeah, because live in a liberalist hellhole is better than having an independent economic system in a country full of elites who likes to brainwash with their social media directly to the people, ignorant people of course.

This is something really repugnant, the communists are beings that make me laugh their ideology is a man even if they try to impose it is impossible to be felt, no one is equal to anyone, and it seems that after so many wars and death people do not understand That up to heaven there is hierarchy.

Hello. My name is Andres U. Piletti. I'm 15 years old, and I live in Venezuela.

I see you chose to be a communist. That's fine for me. I believe in peace and equality, but I'm not a communist. But, you did something wrong.

Follow this guy.

He has turned my birth country in a hellhole. He literally steals money from us, and gives it away to other countries. I know he's trying to help, but Venezuela is his concern. Not other countries.
With him, poverty and violence has risen. Every week people die, get shot, kidnapped, brutally wounded, and he's not willing to do anything for us. He says that socialism will benefit all of us, but ever since that, i see no benefit.
My dad has to work twice as hard to get the money we need to buy food. Mom is unemployed because she had a surgery that left her on a wheelchair.
You can't leave your house without getting mugged.
The hospitals are literally falling down.
I believe in equality. But not this kind of equality where we all are not safe, struggling for a slice of bread, and living in the streets.
His family is living like kings and queens. I've seen pictures. Chavez' brother and nephew live in Miami, loaded with millions of dollars and huge cars, something the Venezuelan people will never have. When Justin Bieber came to Venezuela, Chavez forced the pop star to sing a private concert for her daughter.
plus this picture of Rosines, Chavez' daughter [link]

He said that being rich is bad. Yet he's living the wealthy life.

And doing nothing for his people.

I want real change. Not lies. Not the lies this man told us.

My name is Andres Piletti, and this man, Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, has destroyed my homeland.

Goliath-Maps In reply to Andy23497 [2013-05-04 00:14:21 +0000 UTC]

I have to agree with you. Communism sounds very nice, until its actually implemented. Stalin (a very devout Communist) killed more people than Hitler.

I think equality and fairness are important, but a Communist system will not achieve those things (unless its socialist in name only, like Labour Party in Britain). I think the Pie analogy works quite well here.

There is a Pie where everyone in the country takes a bite. The Rich take very large bites, and the poor take small ones. Communism seeks to make sure that everyone gets the same amount. Capitalism seeks to make the Pie larger. Capitalism is still hugely unfair, but it's the only system where the people who need help really get it.

America may not be the richest of countries, but for such a large country is unusually rich, and it is far better off than Venezuela or Russia. The only reason China is prospering (comparatively) is because it has begun to throw some socialistic principles.

Your views on Chavez are misinformed. There is hardly evidence to anything you've said.

You're getting a lot of your information from western anti-Chavez sources.

Venezuela has improved under Chavez if you've looked at this article.

Also, take a good look at this photo and tell me what you see about those who support Chavez and who supports Capriles.

No I am not. You don't get to decide if I'm a "fucking asshole" or not. It's not your place to call me that because of your feelings. You're PROBABLY a light-skinned midde-class/upper-class Venezuelan so don't pull this "you don't know me" bullshit. You have the privilege of being able to speak English and to use the internet so I find it hard to believe that you're suffering under Chavez.

The fact that you said "God Bless America" tells a lot about you. That you think it's okay for the US to bomb Middle Eastern countries. So give me a break.

Andy23497 In reply to DragonQuestWes [2012-10-13 21:46:30 +0000 UTC]

I am not okay with bombing middle east countries. I am fucking poor. He cuts off the energy of our house, and he rationates the water. That means we have water ONE HOUR A WEEK.

He banned may tv channels, and all we have are shows about him or Karl Marx or Fidel Castro and more political shit.

We have a broken down piece of shit car., and Chavez banned all new cars.

My uncle's been shot twice and kidnapped.

What the fuck is Chavez doing for us? Nothing!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DragonQuestWes In reply to Andy23497 [2012-10-13 22:21:08 +0000 UTC]

Did you even read the article I posted? How poor? Poor enough not to be able to afford a computer and internet? If you're able to have a computer and internet, then you damn well should be able to buy food and water. I consider you middle class just like how I myself am a middle class gringo, because I have a laptop, Nintendo video game consoles and handheld systems, and a couple of TVs so you and I are on the same level overall. Also, this "water rationing" argument is a rather new one for me, but do you think this is the fault of the president?

You say that he banned many TV channels yet only 5.44% (Sept. 2010 estimate) of Venezuelans who watch TV watch state-run media.

I call bullshit on the car ban for one reason: What is this?

Who was your uncle kidnapped by? Gangs roaming the streets? He's still alive is he?

The only reason you're saying that he hasn't done anything for you is because you haven't or hardly interacted with Chavistas within your own country and you haven't bothered to ask what the president has done for them. I have talked to Venezuelans who have told me that the president has made the country a better place. Those Venezuelans I've talked with either support the President enough to have him re-elected or have no problem with him being re-elected. I've even came across one Venezuelan who's absolutely apolitical (meaning she neither sides with Chavez nor Capriles) and I will have to admit that she's made a good choice not to get involved in the drama. I'm sorry you have to put up with misfortunes but if you're even breathing at all, then that should be a sign that you should be grateful to be alive.

Andy23497 In reply to DragonQuestWes [2012-10-13 23:43:47 +0000 UTC]

I don't like him, okay? He's an evil man. He goes on chain speeches on tv that lasts hours and that makes people buy cable or satellite. Even the Chavistas do that. Even since I was a boy i was taught that communism is the loss of the things you earned with hard work. Commies are just a bunch of fools that will slowly fuck themselves and disappear on their own. Tell me one fucking country that lives well being communist, and don't say China because China is capitalist as fuck. I don't want to see the place I was born become a hellhole. See Cuba. Nobody is happy there. Everyone's poor! And Chavez wants Venezuela to become Cuba!

Why don't you want to open your eyes and see the truth?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DragonQuestWes In reply to Andy23497 [2012-10-14 00:23:10 +0000 UTC]

No he isn't evil. He is not the devil. And it's absolutely ridiculous to claim that "Chavistas are annoyed by him." Whoever taught you that Communism is bad is lying to you. Communism isn't evil at all. But that's not what Chavez is. He is a Bolivarianist who uses aspects of Socialism to make Venezuela a more prosperous place. I have talked to at least a couple Cubans who will tell you that almost everyone in Cuba loves Castro except for the white/light-skinned expats living in Miami, the ones who've exploited and stole the wealth from the majority of the population which is why Fidel Castro along with his brother Raul and Che Guevara got together to overthrow the US-backed dictator known as Batista. Cuba is prosperous under Castro and Venezuela is prosperous under Chavez. You haven't lived under a dictatorship akin to Batista or Pinochet of Chile. Say what you will about the Castro brothers and Chavez, but I will continue to support them because they CARE about their people much more than you think they do.

You don't get to decide what is "truth" and what isn't because of your feelings. You are NOT telling the truth. You are just repeating what you are told by White/Spanish/Italian/light-skinned people who have this unhealthy grudge against Socialism/Communism/Marxism/Left-wing movements all because they're afraid that their wealth will disappear. You were taught to have this fetish for money and you need to let that shit go. Your concept of "hard work" is also misleading and misinformed because you don't understand that you were born with wealth, while most of the Venezuelan population had to struggle to get by because their poverty before 1998 was because your parents and grandparents PROBABLY exploited them.

When I was in high school, I would often question the accuracy of our US American media, because often they would demonize China (even though they ARE Capitalist as you said, but China's economic practices is not what we're discussing here), North Korea, Vietnam (sometimes), Cuba and Venezuela. Then at age 18, I have decided that I'm going to break away with the so-called "American Dream" because truthfully, I have seen the perspectives of the Chinese, the Koreans, the Vietnamese, the Cubans and Venezuelans. Many of them against US colonialism, many of them remembering what happened when democratically elected leaders like Salvador Allende of Chile were overthrown with help from the CIA. That is why I will continue to support leaders like Fidel Castro (even though Raul Castro is president of Cuba now) and Hugo Chavez and I have no intention of turning back.
