Full title: The Heavens Declare the Glory of God.This sunset was THE most spectacular one I have seen in years. The sky was fiery red over much of its extent, front and back. I actually took a number of different angles, and I may make a panorama of it sometime. But I just dropped in to share this with you. Thank you, God! You blessed my eyes this day.
Taken with a hp photosmart 320, in other words a little el cheapo wide angle point and shoot digital camera. It's what I had with me.

Oh yes they most certainly do! Gorgeous shot of a gorgeous sky. How could anyone stand under an canvas as glorious as that and deny the brushstrokes were done by a sovereign Hand.

while i still hold true to my belief that sunsets are very overdone on here, i must admit that the colors here are very vivid and beautiful, i love those oranges and pinks, and though overdone you just really can't get enough of them

Did you get back from your trip to the Mojave yet? How did it go?

the trip was wonderful... thank you for asking. everytime i go i come back a little lighter in the soul and a little heavier on the scale. i can't say what was the best part of the trip it. i visited some new places, Bodie ( not techincally in the mojave ) Paniment Springs, and re-aquanted myself with some old freinds such as Kelso Dunes and Rainbow Basin. honestly i still haven't sorted it all out yet. all i know is that i will go back again and again and again. someday i will make a life there and hopefully wear out many more pairs of shoes.

If you do all the hiking you're supposed to do, no reason why you should come back heavier on the scale.

Ya a brought back pictures... slowly working my way through them so i don't flood the poor folk on that are kind enough to watch me. I've posted some over the last week or so... and will continue as time permits. Thank you so much for your interest. How have things been going down in your neck of the woods? No more flooded out roads I hope!
Oh I came back pretty much the same, albeit not as much as I'd have liked I had a pretty full schedule.

I appreciate your work, and I do agree one should not flood the folks with too many at once. (I am not good about keeping that rule). You're welcome. No more flooded roads. But more rain, unseasonably. I hear there is an El NiΓ±o this year. That will probably mean abundant wildflowers, so I'll be out taking pictures a lot.
