It\'s Chinese New Years and had a few days off so decided to do this conceptual piece for fun. All PS using texture type brushes original done in pencils (scanned). Completion in 8 hours from beginning to end.Related content

Did you draw your inspiration from the Chaos Space Marines from warhammer 40k? This image looks shockingly like one. especially the shoulder pads and backpack.

I like the direction that you took in individualizing the armor of this Space Marine. In particular, the idea of the 'helmet' being made of some sort of unbreakable glass or the like is a nice touch. Maintaining visibility of the battlefield and all that. I also like the idea of the recessed blades in the shoulder pauldrons.

Wow, obviously a WH 40k Space Marine, with the winged skull on his chest armour and all. Frankly, I wish they'd look a bit more like this

Despite the complete awesomeness of this piece, I need to point something out. Unless the guy is walking, his legs are wrong. The leg facing toward the camera should be longer in perspective to the other leg. Other than that it's great.

Fantastic design, I love the shoulderpads, the backpack, the chest eagle. It's a shame you didn't design any of it.
Where's the Boltgun, or the purity seals? Just to make the plagiarism complete. It almost looks like you chopped the top half of a Space Marine off, then glued it to the legs of a Gears of War grunt. Or maybe a Starcraft Marine.

Loved your work on Darkminds..I Still have a sketch you did for me like 15 years ago at a Con somewhere at the exhibition place in downtown Toronto!!!
