If you don't like my art you don't have to critique it. I am always open-minded for all sorts of feedback - I know I still have a lot to learn but at least give a constructive critique!
Taking a look at your own gallery does not in any way justify your harshness against my work ... again - if you don't like it just ignore my work! As I will with yours!
And don't get me wrong ... I just can't understand why you posted that kind of comment ... and NO I don't want to know! So please don't answer!

You know, you asked for a critique didn't you? Do you know why I didn't state all of the good parts? Because I don't need to, they don't need any fixing! I'm not taking a personal stab at you, far from that. I actually enjoy your art and that's why I gave a rating on THIS PARTICULAR piece compared to others. Don't be offended, seriously, I don't doubt your art potential. Through some years you'll see a few comments that state some faults. They are not meant to offend, they are meant to help, that's a critique (it's a comment that may seem negative to some but actually just points out things you could improve) As to my gallery, you can see I'm not an expert: but part of art is to share knowlege, and I am just saying in my opinion what could be better. Make what you will of my comment, just don't take it as something negative. That wasn't my intention. Stay safe:
-Lucas

Of course I asked for critique - but for constructive critique. AND you are no member - so your comment does not qualify as being a critique.
I apologize for being so harsh - but I did not see any constructive criticism in your original comment - sorry! And I always try to give constructive critiques myself.
And yeah your definition is right - and I really like to receive critique as it's the only way to improve actually. But the sound makes the music ... and the sinle thing in your message that I really could not see any help was your comment about the thick white line. It was no critique in any constructive matter it was only a subjective matter. You did not like it. Point. But it was my artistic decision to do it like that and I love it that way. Point.

The small detailed beard in his face is probably the part that most fascinates me. Great work my dear! I really can't say much more... I'm so astonished...

That's great! How are you doing? Do you like it at the university? What do you study?

Good to hear! I am fine too! But a lot of stress at work - so I don't find the time to draw or paint ... Hope this will change over the holidays! I recently did two paintings as commission work - but besides that I haven't done a painting for a long time now ...
You're studying Digital Games Design? Hell that's great!!! How long does this take? Do you laso learn to program or just the art and 3D-stuff?

I see... I've been having art blocks ever since I got into the Univ.... T___T It seems as if the University campus as eaten my brain... *or I'm just, as some people say, brain farting...*
Yes I am, but looking forward to continue my degree in the Art Institute if possible on the second year, so I can go to a more specific degree. Mine here in Portugal includes both programming and the art and 3D stuff, but what i really waht is just the art and 3d itself... I really don't understand much of programming, and I just simply hate math... so this is kind of killing me... We also study how to write the game's story, and as well as semiotics (I'm still trying to figure out why we need this last one...).

Really?! You are? I used to love the first two TV shows and the movies but then lost interest after a lot of terrible outcome. Great to see a new verion that finally does the whole thing justice!
