Description This is a TieraZon v2.9 fractal resized and color tweaked using Photoshop 7. It looked to me like a feathery flower with a bit of the red, white and blue to wave..

I don't know if you've used the apps before, but I went through each of the various formulae, filters and colors one at a time to see what each would do. The color parameter works best when you set the size at 640x480.. I usually draw the initial fractal at this size and play around until satisfied. Then, I just go to the size button and redraw it at the larger size... usually 3 or 4 times the size I want for the final size. I use the Photoshop to reduce them in 200 pixel increments so as not to lose any detail and it smooths all the curved lines, too. It's like anti-aliasing done manually. I found the automatic anti-aliasing takes too long using it in the TieraZon.

One can really lose track of time playing around with the apps. ...LOL.

I messed around with some of the other apps for fun. I had some time to mess about today so off I went. I got a little fustrated with the default colours. So I got something I liked and dropped it in PS to play with.
Thanks for the tips ill have to try it out next time.

You can have more control on the colors by using the 'color parameters' popup...just right click on the image and select the 'color controls'....you can cycle through the colors automatically or manually. Also, you can play with the RGB slides for more variety. This works for all but the Sterlingware application, which has 25 presets plus the 6 or so RGB settings. Even so, I still play around with the colors in Photoshop to bring out specific colors or saturation in an image. You can also access the color controls from the toolbar menu, but the right click with the mouse is faster. Hope this helps..
