aha, this is a very nifty technique called the emulsion lift basically a polaroid photo is made up of loads of layers - if you cut it open and dunk it in hot water for a while, they seperate. the image you see is the photo layer, which I have floated onto a square of thick paper. The process of seperating the image and transferring it causes it to get loads of little folds and rips.I'm pants at explaining things though so watch this video, it'll make more sense [link]

Basically... yeah.but it was a crappy picture anyways I wasn't too bothered about taking it apart.The other one, Friends - that I will keep forever, as its my first ever polaroid shot, and its of two good friends, so yeah means a bit more to me.Polaroids are fun, give them a try some time if you have a bit of spare cash
