He looks like the picture was taken over a hot fire and the waves made him look more sinister, if possible.

I really love this picture because its like the dark side is coming off of him. His expression and body language just scream "Screw off!" to me, and I like the way you drew his horns. It's a very interesting picture. Awesome job

the surreal way darth maul seems to exist in this picture is what drew me to it. i dont know if you are looking for criticism but what i would suggest is more highlighted areas to pick out important spots.

Your work is very very good, you're a good photographer although I have photographer friends who are more.. experts than I am. But I think the main reason why your Darth Maul is the most viewed one is perhaps because.. it's the only fanart you have in your gallery, right? So it makes sense, most of the people in here (or at least the people I know) browse dA for fanart mostly, to check on their favourite heroes etc. And some are looking for stock photography too, to use in photo manipulations. So yeah, fanart is a MAJOR asset to someone's gallery, it makes you popular instantly. As long as you tag the right words of course (e.g. Darth Maul, Star Wars etc).
