Description
The last eye I will do for a while, this took the longest and was technically the most difficult. When I started drawing just over a year ago the one thing I admired more than anything was those who had the ability to draw water - this was used as a trial to a drawing I have had planed for months, and contains only water!

I have to admit that I hated drawing this, and have made many mistakes - it is a miracle that i am even uploading it to DA, lots of problems getting a good photo especially as it has been dull all day in Shanghai and the flash on the camera reflects the dark areas (I may try and photograph it again if we ever see the sun!) - however after spending 3 weeks and 40+ hours on it, I feel I have to show something for all those wasted hours!

Usual drawing implements; mechanical 4B Pencil, traditional pencils 4H through to 8B, lots of erasers and a piece of smooth A2 paper.

I 'bumped' into the original eye photograph and thought I should make reference to this fantastic picture - you can find the original here [link] (I actually used a reference found from a Google search, and have only just found the original -just shows you that all roads lead back to DA
