There was an Earth Day rally today at Parliament Hill in Ottawa. A representative from the Native Women's Association of Canada was speaking to the crowd. The girl next to her was holding a sign saying “KYOTO FOR OUR CHILDREN PLEASE”. While the lady was speaking her son decided he wanted to be closer to his mother and walked onto the steps. It was pretty neat she stopped her speech to say “that’s my son" and said hi to him. The photographer decided he was the show and he seemed to agree. For our children

I'm all for the party but really, Kyoto is too restricting.
It also doesn't help that no one really looks up and says "Maybe the sun has something to do with this"

Too true, if the sun is heating up the rest of the solar system by the same amount as the increase we are experiencing here on Earth(especially when its at its Solar minimum), then its a pretty good place to start looking for answer to global warming!
