When and Where?
Most of the inspiration for Frozen comes from Norway and from the clothing I would place it in the early 1800s.

I took my Inspiration from this thread about the Uniforms of Denmark-Norway in 1810.

I have a mental image of a military parade in Arendelle somewhat similar to the Trooping of the Colour in Great Britain. I envision Elsa and Anna on horseback in military uniforms. The only difference I see, is a reversal of the colors with a blue jacket with red trim. For some reason, I just see the uniform of the Arendelle Army as sky blue.

BTW: I'm working on a new chapter in my fanfic. It's a flash back to the battle I mention where Eugene won a medal for valor. Decided that since I've already set up an historical time frame with my art trade story, that I'd go ahead and put that battle in 1804, and the adversary is a French Army. Not led by Napoleon himself, but one of his Marshals. The Coronans don't like the "Little Corporal" any more than Marie Louise does.

For a moment I was confused by the title, because the first "Elsa" I thought of was Dr. Elsa Schneider (the Nazi spy in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade").

Elsa wearing the prettiest uniform I ever see. However, looked up on the Total War Centre when I seen some of the images were not found on the forum other than Militias, Artillery, Light Infantry units, Generals and General Staff.
